FAQs
-
Absolutely. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Tell me a little about your home, what's working, what's not, and what you're hoping to accomplish. I'll help point you toward the service or level of support that makes the most sense.
-
Probably not! Sometimes a fresh perspective, a better furniture arrangement, a thoughtfully planned gallery wall, or help solving one frustrating area can make a meaningful difference in how your home functions and feels. Not every project needs to be a full-room transformation.
-
No. One of the goals of The Functional Nest is to make thoughtful interior design more accessible. Services are offered at different levels so you can choose the kind of support that works for your home, your project, and your budget.

-
Not at all. You don't need to arrive with a style name, Pinterest-perfect vision, or a list of furniture already picked out. We'll uncover what you're naturally drawn to while also considering how you actually use your home.
Hey, this is supposed to be fun.
Creating a home you love shouldn’t feel intimidating. We’ll explore ideas, play with possibilities, hunt down the right pieces, solve the tricky spots, and slowly bring your vision into focus.
You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want. Part of my job—and one of my favorites—is helping you discover it.
